Cherry Hill Campground: Maryland

I checked in and spent 3 days at the Cherry Hill campground in Maryland. OMG. It was gorgeous. Beautiful campground with tons of sites.

The bus picked me and my bicycle up in front of the campground and drove us right to the metro station (for free). From there I got on to the train and in 25 minutes I was right on Pennsylvania Avenue. Total senior fare was $5 round trip for me and the bike. 25 minutes from the bus to DC.

The campground had a one hour class the night before on teaching you about the trains and buses. I attended while I used the laundry room one door over.

So I booked a Premium Tent Site at Cherry Hill.

With your premium campsite comes a tent pad, a grill, your own gazebo and hammock and a picnic table and 4 blue chairs and another table and chairs in the gazebo. I car camped one night and slept in my tent the next night. The bathroom and showers were so clean.

Great biking thru the campground. Big place with some hiking trails. Best.
