The trail runs alongside the western edge of Palm Beach, a view of the Lake Worth Lagoon and West Palm Beach beyond.
The trail is 5 and a half miles long, running from South Lake Drive near Peruvian Avenue North to its terminus just north of the famous Sailfish Club.
The trail has a break behind Flagler's Whitehall but otherwise it continues once you past that. Lovely ride with views of yachts, wildlife and gorgeous homes. No stops anywhere for bathroom facilities or drinks.
The Sea Gull Cottage is right across from Flagler's and it is the oldest house in Palm Beach.
