Strawberry Pie

Delicious Pie using Strawberry Pie


1 Large Box of Strawberries

3/4 cup finely ground graham cracker crumbs 3/4 cup finely ground animal crackers 1/3 cup white sugar 6 tablespoons butter, melted 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 1/2 Cups water 3/4 cup of sugar 2 Tbsp Cornstarch 1 3 oz box of Strawberry Jello


GRAHAM CRUST: Mix graham cracker crumbs, animal crackers, 1/3 cup sugar, melted butter or margarine, and cinnamon until well blended . Press mixture into a lightly oiled 9" cast iron pie plate or whatever pie plate you use. Put in refrigerator for 1 hour to chill.

Strawberry Pie Filling: After one hour, take the pie plate out of the fridge. Just place the Whole Strawberries on top of the crust leaving all tips pointed upwards. Simply bring to a boil 1 1/2 cups water, 3/4 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cornstarch and boil til it thickens while stirring. Add in one 3 oz box of strawberry jello and pour hot mixture over the berries, making sure the glaze covers each berry and refrigerate for about 4 hours uncovered.
